Habitat for Humanity began in 1968 because Linda and Millard Fuller had a passion to provide access to safe and decent housing for everyone and to have people, from all walks of life, come together to make this vision come true.  In 1984, former United States President Jimmy Carter and wife Rosalynn took part in their first ever Habitat build and continue to do so to this day.

To date, Habitat has built 800,000 houses in over 100 countries around the world, providing more than 4 million people with safe, decent, and affordable shelter. Habitat's mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Over the last year, Eagle Homes has donated large quantities of building supplies including everything from plywood, shingles, door and window trim, base board, as well as rolls of carpet and lino. We are also happy to support this wonderful cause through financial donations. At Eagle Homes, we are thrilled to be working together with Habitat for Humanity to bring communities together to help build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.
