Kootenay Animal Assistance Program

From Laurel: "Hello, I'm Laurel Mathew, president of Kootenay Animal Assistance Program (KAAP) and we received an extremely generous donation from Eagle Homes. From all of us on the KAAP board, please accept our gratitude and appreciation - this donation is amazing and will help so many of our animals in care. We are currently undertaking a large kitten and cat rescue on a property where there are estimated to be over 40 cats. So far we have taken in 31 kittens, and have caught and spayed/neutered 5 adults. This is a very costly undertaking so donations such as this make it possible to push forward and help all these deserving beings. This photo is of myself with one of the newest little rescue kittens from the big property. Again, thank you very, very much, from all of us at KAAP." https://www.kaap.ca/

Salmon Arm Hospital

In 2024, we were proud to donate to the Salmon Arm Hospital/Shuswap Hospital Foundation. These funds will be used for purchasing important medical equipment for testing that would otherwise not be available locally in Salmon Arm.

The purpose of the society is to work with government, contractors and developers to "assist in the placement of veterans into the home ownership or rental market."
